Hallie had a RAINBOW birthday party this year! It was fun for me and perfect for a family party or "relative party" as Hallie called it. We had family in town for Bailey's blessing, so it worked out perfectly. My parents from SLC, my brother Tay, and my Aunt Sue all were able to come. Such a fun weekend!
The day of celebration started with a lovely crepe breakfast.
Then the whole fam damily went to the bowling alley! Such good sports!
Very fun, I felt like we had the place to ourselves!

After bowling, we came home to eat Hallie's choice of lunch: corn dogs, tator tots, rainbow fruit skewers (thank you pinterest) and rainbow cupcakes.
Here's just our little fam (minus Bailey)
My sweet mom and Sue were kind enough to help me make the rainbow cupcakes--rather laborious but very fun! We used gel colors and they turned out quite colorful.

Then Hallie opened presents. What a haul!!! Thanks for all the gifts and for making her birthday so special!
Hallie's REAL birthday was on her first day of preschool!! So fun! She was so excited to have her new Cinderella backpack, princess lunch bag and water bottle!
I brought in rainbow cupcakes for her preschool class. Yummy!
There's nothing better when you're 5 than getting a birthday hat to wear while the other kids sing to you on your first day of preschool!

Happy birthday Hallie! Cute party. :)
ReplyDeleteCurious, if she is 5, why isn't she in kindergarten?
Missed the deadline by 4 days!!! She's so ready for school.
ReplyDeleteFinally saw that you had added this...so fun! Happy birthday to Hallie Bear! We love you. Come to Utah soon and play with us OK?
